When arriving in the McConnell Air Force Base area by plane, the nearest major airport is the Wichita Mid-Continent Airport which is located about 6 miles from the base in Wichita, Kansas.

When you reach Rock Road, take a right heading South until you come to the main gate of McConnell Air Force Base which is located about 3 miles down on your right.
